Editorial Design: Carrie Mae Weems Magazine Article 2020

For this editorial project, I had to make four spreads based on Carrie Mae Weems' photography. I was given the article and the imagery required to be on the pages. The challenge was figuring out how to organize all the information that would go onto each of the spreads.  I used many diagonals in order to add movement and energy to the pages. I felt that Weems' works also carry a sort of energy to them as well.
