Kayla is a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, concentrating in Graphic Design. She looks to accumulate new experiences in different areas of work. Kayla is the Owner and CEO of Love Pure Design LLC.

  • ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE: primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Limited experience with After Effects/motion graphics.

    MICROSOFT 365 APPLICATIONS: primarily: Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Clip Champ. Limited Experience with: Microsoft Excel.

    CREATING DIGITAL/PRINT ADVERTISEMENT:

    Magazine advertisements (full, quarter, ½), flyers, signage (posters, banners, labels, etc.), museum/exhibition panels, digital and printed billboard ads, presentations, branding/stationery design (logos, postcards, business cards, envelopes, etc.), fillable forms, stickers and t-shirt designs, social media advertisements (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), and TV graphic elements (lower thirds, openers, and violators).  

    SOCIAL MEDIA & EMAIL MANAGEMENT:

    Create social media ads and videos, schedule and make posts. Make email newsletters and send email blasts through MAILCHIMP.

    DIGITAL MEDIA PLAYLIST MANAGEMENT:

    Experience with using BRIGHT SIGN to put advertisements on monitors. I have managed media playlists on INTERCARD INC. Kiosks as well as TV media playlists through BRIGHT AUTHOR and BRUNSWICK CLOUD.

    Manage and update digital billboards (through FORMETCO and THINK SIGN).

    WEBSITE MANAGEMENT:

    Design, manage, and update websites that use SQUARESPACE and WIX.

    Limited experience with HTML and CSS.

    PRINTING: Can make prints using large format printers (36 - 48” Wide – Example: Canon ImagePROGRAF GP-300)

    ARCHIVAL WORK: My Past Perfect data input/entry, accessions, museum inventory management, and identification.

    COORDINATE & SCHEDULE EXHIBITIONS: Contact artists and schedule exhibitions and installations.

    I have participated as a panel judge in the ASCA (Alabama State Council on the Arts) Visual Arts Panel (March 2023). I had to determine which artist would be recommended for the fellowship out of an extensive list of applicants. Discussions had to be made with the other panelists to determine the grant winners.
